Dunno, you can find em on Pacific. It looked like the type of crap they show at an IMAX though.

Thanks, oh those sort. I won't even look then. I thought you meant proper documentaries.

Those are overkill IMO and a waste of cash.

There is also a Hot Fuzz DVD Combo coming in The States, some comments over at DVD Active say the HD-DVD side will be getting all the UK extras too.

I looked on the back of the case of X-Men: The Last Stand (Blu-ray), and it said the runtime is 99 minutes. That is the PAL running time (The American one says 104 minutes). Does anyone here own this? I was tempted to buy it because it should look good in HD, but no way am I getting it if it has PAL speed-up or something.

PAL/NTSC speedup doesn't exist on hd as far as i'm aware.i have the american disc.by the way it's not one of the more spectacular blu-ray discs,which surprised me.better than the sd but not greatly.

There's no video speed up but some Studio Canal HD-DVD's have speeded up audio because the French are lazy sods.

The DVDtimes reviewer (one of the MacKenzie brothers, I think) seems convinced that ALL of the Studio Canal releases thus far have had the wrongly pitched audio.

You don't have to buy average movies just because they're cheap and/or you don't have to use average movies as demo discs. There's plenty of AAA grade films on both HD optical formats at this point.
