In regards to your question salty, I haven't yet watched the extras on either disc.

Shit, I haven't even watched most/any of the extras on any of my DVD's. I've had the Project A Platinum since it came out and yet I've only watched the interview with Mars! lol

In regards to Bourne Supremacy extras, you're not missing much. The featurettes are mostly EPK-ish fluff and the commentary is very dry and has alot of long pauses.

You can delete them. First delete your post that says "Double post? WTF?" and then the message that was double.

As for the TYG DVD! Lucky you! Will I wait for the German release or the PA one or just go for the Korean disc? Toughest decision anyone has ever made IMO.

I'd like to get the Korean dvd, but it's too expensive at yesasia. I've asked and so I hope that CDWOW will stock it...

Hard to say. The German disc of "Ong-Bak" is the Besson-cut. However, there is no international cut of "Tom Yum Goong", so if the German company gets the full film, they'll release the full DVD. Most German film and DVD distributors stopped cutting their films if not required by the law.

BTW: Yesasia has the DVD on it's frontpage and says it's 'limited' ...
WOuld that mean that perhaps in a few weeks/months they will remove the english subs from new pressings?

just watched this, enjoyed it greatly, what little plot there is just exists to showcase tony jaa's incredible abilities

the 1.85.1 anamorphic transfer looked excellent on my 32' crt tv ,the subtitles are large & white ,once or twice early on in the film the subs slightly run off the screen but it's no biggie. bear in mind once the storyline arrives in oz 20 minutes in 60%-65% of the dialogue is in english anyway.so if you are handy with the remote you can switch them off during these parts. tony jaa himself has little dialogue. unless it's spectacular can't see myself upgrading to the premier asia when it eventually surfaces.

I saw that and reckon it's a marketing ploy. It's not the first time this has been done.

No other site says it's limited.

Check this out guys. It doesn't mean much now but it's still interesting now the international versions are out subs have been included.

It looks like the Thai Ong-bak DVD has been re-released with English subs:

It could be non-anamorphic as it says Widescreen and 4:3.

Personally I hated the Subtitles on Ong Bak Korean set, total shit and no way I am keeping the set for that alone, it bugged the shit out of me! missing words at start and finish is pants!

Aren't you getting confused with TYG? I'm sure Ong-Bak Korean has no English subs. I heard the TYG English subs weren't very good.
