Is there any difference from making multiple guesses per post...

...and multiple posts with single guesses?

Either way, the net result would be a high number of guesses - increasing one's chance of obtaining the correct answer (which is what we are trying to avoid, according to Tom).

I don't mind though, if Tom says that what I'm saying is crap then I'll shut my face.

OK, let's make this official:

Every player can write only one post, and this one post can only contain one guess.
This player has to wait for the current gamekeeper to tell him that his guess is wrong. Only then can he start guessing again.

Exceptions have been made in the past for people who didn't know the rules. There will be no exceptions anymore.

However it would be stupid to end a round without any points awarded to anyone.

So:
-If the winner had 2 or 3 guesses in one post (or 2 or 3 guesses in consecutive spots) he will be awarded one point.
-More than 3 guesses: No points will be awarded in this round.

Here are the revised rules:

DVD Mystère is a very popular games on french forums.

Here are the basic rules:
The player who won the previous round will post a screenshot from a movie.
-Asian movies are preferred, but not mandatory.
-Well-known movies are preferred, but not mandatory.
-A clue concerning the country of origin is preferred, but not mandatory.
-A minimum resolution of 640x360 is recommended.
-Avoid posting a screenshot that contains spoilers (key characters dying, etc...).
-Make sure the title of the movie is not contained in its filename or URL.
-No posters, no deleted scenes, no stills. Only the movie itself.

Guessing:
-Only one guess per player is allowed.
-A player can guess again only when the current gamekeeper tells him that his previous guess is wrong.
-If a player wins with multiple consecutive guesses, he will get only one point (only if the number of guesses is inferior to 4).
-The winner scores 3 points and becomes gamekeeper for the next round.
-In case 2 players win at the same time, they will both get one point.

**If the gamekeeper notices that the players can't find the movie, he should post a clue or a new screenshot (approx. 24h after posting the first shot).

**If the winner doesn't post a screenshot 24 hours after winning the previous round, I will take his place.

The first player to reach 100 points will be allowed to carry this beautiful banner in his signature:
