What annoys me about the Musa retitle is the fact that they've called it "Warrior" instead of "Warriors".
I'm sure that Musa is plural and refers to the band of korean soldiers.

Out of interest why?

The Protector is a straight forward title and leaves little to be explained. Plus with the new hip hop soundtrack, it pairs up pretty well. Warrior King doesn't sound bad at all but I would've probably saved that title for Zhang Yimou's next sprawling epic rather than a simple contemporary actioner.

That cover art's great. I love it when they put Asian text on Western covers, and spot the SPL title.

They just went with SPL in Aus instead of SPL: Sha Po Lang.

p.s - Personally I think the French cover art is a mess and hate their title, but Kill Zone is worse

I saw the mainland China version first about a year and a half ago, and have only just watched the HK version last night. WOW. I had totally forgotten about the different endings and it kind of shook me up a bit. : D Didn't expect it at all.

Still a good movie.

Yeah, SPL is a modern classic, as far as I'm concerned. Good characters, good story, and good action, plus the ending is just the icing on the cake

In 'tone' it kinda reminds me of an old classic by Yuen Biao, On the Run.
I wish Donnie would make more of this kind of movie, instead of the crap he usually makes.

Dunno as I haven't seen the film, but I suspect that it the same reason why they changed the IA1 ending. The bad guys have to pay for their crimes at the end of movies in the mainland.
