Royal Tramp: Deltamac vs Korean remaster

Post by tom2681 »

In terms of PQ, the korean remaster should be identical to the HK remaster that will be released soon.

Deltamac top.
TaeWon bottom.

Let's start with sub samples:

Both sets of subtitles are inaccurate.
Both refer to Wei Siu-Bo as Wilson Bond.

Still, the korean subs are easier to read and the written stuff is translated as well.

Let's move on to picture quality:
(note: the Deltamac is non-anamorphic)

The Korean remaster is dirty, grainy, dark, contrast-boosted and cropped.
But it's a massive improvement over the soft and washed-out Deltamac print IMO.

Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".
