My Brother... Nikhil - Elite vs Ultra

Post by BiscLimpkit »

Elite (top) vs Ultra (bottom)

Both are terrible. Elite is way too dark but the Ultra is cropped and has that stupid logo. Lesser of two evils, ken?

The anamorphic picture and lack of ugly logo make the Elite DVD the one to go for IMO, but I wouldn't waste my money on either disc since they're both so abysmal.

Feel free to post this in zulm btw.

I think the Ultra one is anamorphic too... need to double check.

I can live with the logo but am gutted about the cropping. The Elite is far too dark - especially the night time scenes.

Some DVD labels are an absolute embarassment min.

Quality control is a term alien to Bollywood DVD companies.

The shots measure as 4:3, so it's definitely letterboxed. Ultra have never released an anamorphic DVD. By the way Bisc, do you post over at Zulm as Scottish_NRI?

Yup you're right - non-anamorphic. I so want to start a DVD label and do the job properly. :(

Aye that's me (chose a name that best described who I am lol) - I recognised your sig. Think it's worth posting this comparison there?

I know how you feel. Since Premier Asia are on life support, I reckon we should take 'em over and add Indian films to their catalogue.

Sure, just add them to the movie's existing thread and Ali will copy them over on to the Zulm server. 8)
