See if Mordib will put it as a banner on the front page and e-mail a few of the bigger DVD sites such as DVD Times and DVD Active to see if they'll promote it for you.

I've just noticed the site looks very much like the Classic Old School Bullets from back in the day.

Build up an active forum which leads to a bigger community, then you higher traffic meaning more ad clicks and more money to expand.

Why not talk to the site owner of bullets and merge them ?

Ld, you can run the front page with news and reviews, and bullets can just run this forum from your site.

You could try asking to put a banner on other sites, but start small, a plce like DVDtimes will probably want quite lot of money for it since they are quite a large site. Start with small sites similar to yours and offer to exchange ad banners for free.

I know theres tons of martial arts and asian cinema forums out there but i think your site looks professional enough to be popular, you just gotta attract the right crowd in the right numbers.

Yeah, but it's quite misleading. The trailer makes this drama look like an action film.

They did the same thing with Volcano High. (turning a whacky comedy into a Matrix-like scifi-action film).

It's a good film with some nice drama and with awesome action at the end. IIRC there are also quite a few cool training sequences. As the film takes place in the early 1970's, the leading character's life is very inspired by Bruce Lee.

Yup and I will just keep getting the better Korean releases of films as PA dvds just get on my nerves, you wait years and get the worst dvd, pointless ever waiting from now on with the cut/international versions they keep forcing in us!

It depends on what you impression of it is to start with, I dont see trailers forst so it doesnt matter to me anyway as they ruin most films.

just watched fist of fury platinum. 8) not a huge leap pq wise on the old release imo,but definitely worth an upgrade

Good point I don't think in reality it would've helped but I wasn't expecting VH to be so much of a comedy.

That's a massively over the top statement when it's actually 1/3 of PA DVDs that PA have altered in some way. 2/3 are the definitive DVDs!

Sure that's high but hardly ALL of them. Besides they do become cheap eventually so worth picking up for the extras.
