Akira R2J vs JBD
Comparison between the 2011 reissued DVD, and Blu-ray, released in 2009. Like Flashback 2012, I'm unaware if picture is new or old, but color & detail are unforgettable; 4k via thumb drive, 4k+ w/disc- an HD restoration that defines DVD. Blu-ray's perfect of course, but you'll prefer the former's dark tones, whose color deserves special mention like Eva's Renewal. You'll also drool over the new disc art, which equals the best sleeve.
