Comparing the 2002 Japanese DVD edition with 2025's Blu-ray. "Original" release is identical to an early Ghibli title, and offers an equally stunning jacket. Blu-ray's on par with others that came before, and slipcase is great, but because DVD, you could have a jaded view towards the former's later renewal. Includes plastic sheet for storing, something fans who import adore. Finale's vocals have been replaced with BGM, but offer aforementioned track on the main menu as a selectable option should you be interested. Wish they were more creative with the sleeve & disc art, but repeated imagery shouldn't come as a surprise.
