After clicking the "I'm ready" button you have to listen carefully to the "on your marks, set" part then react as quickly as you can when you hear the gunshot (but at the right time too) either with mouse or pressing on the keyboard (enter works for me).

Reached 3000 ratings in IMDb!
There's 18 movies I've seen this year that are not found in IMDb. I've been adding some Chiba titles to IMDb lately, though.

Saw John Carpenter in concert the other week....incredibly he was playing in a local venue literally 3/4 of a mile away from me.! jam packed crowd and he was great, did all his movie themes with scenes from each film playing in the background. He also covered Morricone's The Thing theme. Very short concert though, 73 minutes!!

Yup it was a belter of a gig wasn't it. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see Carpenter in front of me playing music haha Its like another reality. All the gigs were packed out, most sold out. He sold 5000 tickets for Manchester (dangerously over sold), insane to think he never toured music all these years

Re: The off-topic topic
yes it feels almost surreal even now. On a list of things that'll probably never happen i'd put seeing JC live so close to home pretty much near the front hopefully the success of the gigs will see him return,i'd go again.romerojpg wrote:Yup it was a belter of a gig wasn't it. Surreal is the word never in our wildest dreams would we guess he would now be a gig guy, and a great one at that haha
I hope he keeps on touring in the future, his new albums are just quality music to listen to.
I was speechless when I met him, stumbled to say much of anything (nothing new there haha). I was not the only one that night happy to see him on that stage, so many friendly people around us all - you could feel the excitement.

Just a random cool pic
Stallone and Harlin
I have probably linked this Harlin interview before, but it's certainly worth a read
http://www.slashfilm.com/renny-harlin-interview/1/
"when Cliffhanger premiered—it had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival—I brought my mom as my date there and I walked the red carpet with people applauding and screaming. My dates were Sylvester Stallone, my mom and Elizabeth Taylor. Then we went to a big celebratory dinner and my mom was sitting between Sylvester Stallone and Elizabeth Taylor. My mom had grown up watching movies with Elizabeth Taylor starring in them, so that was just one of those moments that blew her mind."

I was looking at my movie shelf and wondering that can it really be that hard to make them the same height...

Well, I know Brad got violently murdered (Grim, I still haven't received your payment).
No idea what happened to Gassy. Last I heard, he joined the Klan.

I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

I'm very sorry for your loss. I fear the day my parents will pass away. There's never a time when it won't hurt like hell. I'm just glad you have your family there to support you through your time of grief.

Funeral was yesterday. Last 12 days have been a blur. Just a real sense of numbness now. Never realised death was so complicated. Dealing with banks, pensions, solicitors, probate, funeral directors is all new to me.

Sorry for your loss Sam. Losing parents sucks, and organising funerals can be a royal pain in the arse.

Our faithful dog of 13 years had to be put to sleep this morning. Absolutely heartbreraking, and those knobs who say "it's only a cat or dog" can go fuck themselves
