Re: The General HD Releases Thread!
It'll be a hell of a lot less than the expensive Criterion. The European cut is virtually the director's cut. It's the same cut Fox put out on the UK DVD, including the same extras. Rubbish cover art.

Don't know if anyone here cares but MGM (USA) have dropped the orignal mono tracks from their BDs of A Fish Called Wanda and Casino Royale (1967 version).

Re: The General HD Releases Thread!
That is indeed a worrying trend. You could at least rely on an import. I've no interest in those two films but still. I'd be surprised if Terminator is remix only. It's well known how unpopular it is. I'm fully expecting a DTS-HD MA 5.1 remix plus Mono too (hopefully PCM or DTS-HD MA).
Hopefully Warner don't follow suit.

I need to check out Life of Brian. I just didn't find Holy Grail funny for the most part. It was trying to hard.

Holy Grail is funnier IMO even though Brian is cleverer and more satirical But I really enjoy both

It's a scene lasting 24 secs that was cut from the cinema version.
