Reviews ain't everything. I'm sure they *can* help but if I want to go and see a film I usually don't read the reviews til after I've seen it!

Re: Unknown - Liam Neeson
It was shot in Germany and a friend of mine was a stuntman on that film so you'll all be supporting that film!
As for reviews, box office and people's opinions, I don't see what all the fuss is about. Can't everyone decide whether they are gonna watch a film or not all by themselves? If Brad decides to go by reviews or anybody decides to go by box office numbers, so be it.

Re: Unknown - Liam Neeson
I would put more faith in reviews than box office numbers.
Transformers 2 made a mint remember.
Ultimately if the film sounds interesting I'd rather watch and decide for myself.
If reviews put me off then it's porbably not something I wanted to see all that much in the first place.

I'd still like to see it (Unknown), the story does sound interesting and it DID look very good from the trailer.

Re: Unknown - Liam Neeson
Unknown: 3.5/5
I enjoyed it but it's a film that unfortunately can't quite live up to it's intriguing premise and the terrific trailer. I don't think it was that original, and because it is based on a novel rather than being written for the screen the pacing seems rushed in places, but it IS interesting, I felt the reveal/twist was sadly weak IMO, like a rip off of the Bourne Identity and is crammed in at the end
More violent than I thought it would be for 12A (or maybe it seemed more violent than it was because the 15 rated True Grit contained hardly any violence).
Liam Neeson gave a good performance, I wanted to give this film a 4/5 but I can't
May give it another chance on BD though, maybe there'll be a longer cut.
