The Sea Is Watching - anyone heard of it?

I saw the trailer for this on The Missing Gun DVD - apparently its' the final screenplay (but he didnt direct) - by Akira Kurosawa, released in 2002, 4 years after his death (in 1998).
Is it any good? The trailer didnt give much away and made it look like a period drama type movie. (Nothing wrong with that though).

Brad you said you had not seen a Kurosawa film, have you seen any films with the great Toshiro Mifune (the "crazy" one in Seven Samurai)? He was a favourite of Kurosawa but starred in other director's films as well.
