Tony Jaa’s latest bone-crunching action-extravaganza, Tom Yum Goong, is taking the South East Asian box-office by storm, raking in an amazing HK$11.06 million in Hong Kong alone!

Even mid-morning screenings have been selling out, as fans scramble to get a glimpse of some of the most incredible fight action ever filmed.

The success of the movie has spawned a range of exclusive merchandise, including a 152-page colour souvenir book, a series of trading cards, an interactive game and a making-of VCD.

Knockabout – Back to Red

With the help of our good friends at Fortune Star, we have managed to uncover the famous but rarely seen ‘back-to-red’ sequence from the Sammo Hung/ Yuen Biao action extravaganza, Knockabout.

This incredible footage is a rare promotional concept which showcases dynamic unarmed forms from Kung Fu genius, Yuen Biao, and an action-packed duel between Biao and director/star Sammo Hung. Small snippets are shown in the original Hong Kong Theatrical trailer, but it is revealed here in its complete form.

Those who have not seen the footage before are in for a real treat, as Yuen Biao combines Olympic-standard gymnastics with impeccable fighting form.

Just to make sure everyone knows...there is going to be an extended cut of Taegukgi released at some point. No real info is out yet besides its existence and inevitable release.

Just keep this in mind before buying anymore editions of the current version.

HKL have another forthcoming release up on their site, and its another boxset

Spend some time releasing new movies please, instead of lame-ass boxsets!

This one is the "Epic Action Collection" and contains Iron Monkey PE, Wing Chun and Tai Chi Boxer for £15 so I guess its good value if you dont have them already.

The DVD is supposed to be very good but acording to Markgway, there arent many extras for a Platinum Ed.

Have you got Heart of Dragon or Millionaires Express? Those are good also

"Dragons Forever" is a quite good DVD release. As for the HKL DVDs that were released in the past 12 months there are review links in ascending order (until "Once a Thief" -> after that in alphabetical order) on my website. Direct link:

How does ACGS 2 compare to the first part? If its' as good as the classic original (IMO) I must be in for a treat.

ACGS 2 is funnier, but it lacks the romantic element of the first.

ACGS 2 vs ACGS 1 is kind of like OUATIC 4 vs OUATIC 3 IMO.
