But because of a bad unlockable sex themed minigame in their somewhere - people want it to get an Adults Only rating over there..
Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64 had an M rating (IIRC) but that was rather cartoony in its' approach (though it did have swearing), very much tailored for a South Park audience.
When playing Perfect Dark I couldnt see much difference (in terms of violence) between that and the earlier Goldeneye.
To put it in to perspective: It's okay for 17-year olds to kill loads of people, car-jack people and show lots of blood, drug use, prostitution (which involves sex, no?), etc. But a 17 year old cannot watch a few second depiction of a sex act. That's 18 and over.
So randomly killing people: OK.
Sex: Whoa! Illegal. ADULTS ONLY!! Well thats just sad.
I've heard the sex is pretty soft anyway.
Also I've heard many parents (on both sides of the pond) mostly ignore game ratings and don't understand them, or can't be bothered.
