I'm saying men are shallow when it comes to a short fling, but when they are considering a long-term relationship, many men will take more importance in a woman's personality and how they feel around them etc, as opposed to big boobs, long blonde hair, whatever.

TBH, I've had this same conversation with women over the years, and they agreed with me on this issue. It's a fact that many MANY women are very attracted to money and social status. as it just means security and respect, and an easy life.

TBH the entire argument that women are more superficial than men is completely irrelevant in this case because both Gillian & Cecilia are more successful and probably much richer than Edison Chen. Let's take a look at what he has to offer:

- Not a good actor.
- Not good looking.
- Built like a 13 yr old boy.
- No charisma.
- Likes to talk like a Gangsta'.

I'm still in shock about all this tbh, and apparently there were also pictures on his PC of Maggie Q? How does he do it!

If this had been Nic Tse or Danny Wu then I could understand because they're actually good looking at least - hell I could even buy Sam Lee pulling all these girls because at least he has a personality!

Quite frankly, I'm astounded such good looking birds actually bedded Edison, sucked his dick, and allowed him to film them (many of the porns one are actually video grabs) and photograph them. I mean it's not like there's a shortage of good looking asian male stars in HK with much more charisma in their little toe than Edison as a whole. Plus he gave his computer to repair with all the images, the guys pulverise the guiness dumb record.

Before the matter gains public attention Edison already knew, because both parties could not agree on a price, this time Kira was asking more than 10 millions.

Edison took a private car to Shenzhen, then to Macau, took a private plane from his dad’s friend to the United States, and look for Vincy Yeung to help his cause. Yeung Shou Cheng thought he could handle the matter, but eventually it was still not solved. Kira has decided to raise the price, and released the photos the night when Edison fled HK. Since that day Kira has been raising his price every day. It is believed Kira is in Thailand and Indonesia, and Kira is a group of two, and the data has been uploaded to the United States.

Do not think you have seen the best of all, why hasn’t C10’s and Maggie Q’s photo being released? Because Kira hasn’t gotten the right price, or because of safety reason, there isn’t a safe way for him to get paid.

Because this is Kira’s ultimate chip. And the most controversial material in Kira’s collection?

It is obvious what is going to happen to Edison, he’s going to die unnaturally. Edison has made some very powerful people in HK very angry. Vincy's father and uncle is said to have links to several HK triads and is probably not very happy about the whole affair. Vincy herself has said she will stand by Edison Chen. Edison is stupid if he think Vincy can safe him from the men in her family if they really wanted to kill him.

Quite frankly at this point, if the triads get him, I don't think many will cry or regret his amazing career. Yes, it's not punishable by death, but the repercussion of these pics getting "lost" wasted so much money for both the industry and the triads, that payback will happen bigtime, it's like if you traffic drugs, but disappear with both the money and the stuff. They will find you. We're not speaking legal justice here.
Killing the essence of entertainment, dreams that they generate, is just what this guy did by 1/recording his private stuff 2/accidentally letting the pics and vids out. It's like a bomb exploded in the HK entertainment industry, it's really bad because so many lives by this (especially in HK), for people, movies and music are the reason they stay alive, it helps them on a day to day basis to go through their lives, Edison just killed that.

Well, do you live there ? I've been there more times than I can count, and I've met a lot of asian women (even married one), let me tell you for these people, stars are important, their lives are so full of boredom, that entertainment has a whole different meaning than for us westerners. You basically cannot go out with an HK woman without her telling you how bored life is there, and I've been with women who really earn so much money for a living, they shouldn't bother, but it doesn't bring them any happiness. Stars are like a window of fresh air there, it's a bit like in the old days in europe and the US, brings them down, and it's really squashing a lot of what movies are all about.
