1. Pee Wee's Big Adventure (0) vs Beetlejuice (0) vs Batman (4)
2. Edward Scissorhands (1) vs Batman Returns (2) vs Ed Wood (1)
3. Mars Attacks! (1) vs Sleepy Hollow (2) vs Planet of the Apes (0) vs Big Fish (0) - Both Sleepy Hollow and Planet of the Apes were poor though.
4. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (0) vs Corpse Bride (0) vs Sweeney Todd (0) vs Alice in Wonderland (1) - That's a hard one. Both Corpse Pride and Sweeny Todd are great.

What's with the 3 or 4 films per vote this time?

The only set where I've seen all films... that's the problem with 3 or 4 films competing each other... maximum chance that you haven't seen at least one of them...

NB: First round closes at 7.33pm on Thursday evening. Just so everyone knows where they stand. From now on each round will be open 24 hrs and when it closes it stays closed.

You can still vote as long as you've seen more than one film per tie.

Because the bugger has only made 14 films. 2 too few to play a regular round and I didn't want to cut 6 - at least this way each film has some chance.

Lol Mark, in other World Cups you've kept voting open for a random length of time 'just in case others want to vote' etc etc.

Any coincidence you didn't when NBK was in the final?

Total coincidence. I already said a million times if I knew Degen was going to vote I would have waited no matter the outcome. Whether someone posts 30 mins after the close or 3 days or 3 weeks - it doesn't matter. There has to be a rule of closure. I admitted my mistake and have sought to rectify this for future games. If that's not good enough then sorry.

In case of a draw the film with the highest imdb percentage wins.
