3. Heroes Shed No Tears (0) vs A Better Tomorrow (3)

4. A Better Tomorrow II (1) vs The Killer (2) - Easy choice. I'm not a fan of ABT or ABT2.

6. Hard Boiled (3) vs Hard Target (0) - Easy choice too.

7. Broken Arrow (1) vs Face/Off (2) - Again an easy choice.

8. Mission: Impossible II (0) vs Red Cliff (3) - But only because I've not got around to watching my BD yet, feel free to discount this one. I suspect I'll prefer Red Cliff when I've seen it.

Can't vote on the first option (Dragon Tamers), havent seen either film.

2. The Hand of Death vs Last Hurrah for Chivalry

3. Heroes Shed No Tears vs A Better Tomorrow - Heroes Shed No Tears was very good but ABT beats it.

4. A Better Tomorrow II vs The Killer - No contest.

5. Bullet in the Head vs Once a Thief - lame comedy in Once a Thief spoilt it. Bullet in The Head = brutal, harrowing classic.

6. Hard Boiled vs Hard Target - HT is good for a US actioner but Hard Boiled beats it hands down.

7. Broken Arrow vs Face/Off

8. Mission: Impossible II vs Red Cliff

The Killer is the best Hong Kong movie ever made.

A Better Tomorrow is the second best Hong Kong movie ever made.

A Better Tomorrow II is ok. Has some great scenes.

Kinda sad that Heroes Shed No Tears was against ABT. Tears is an excellent film.

Likewise with Hard Boiled. Take the action away, and it is pretty much forgettable. But the action IS there, and it IS awesome.

The Killer wouldn't even make it into my top 100 movies TBH.

My favourite Woo movie is and probably always will be Hard Boiled. It's not perfect, but as an action-flick, it comes pretty goddamn close.

Not gonna bother with the whole brackets thing, cause the system is flawed in a way that good movies are cast against other good movies thus dropping one of them early on, while some OK movies are cast against other OK movies and survive.

I guess but the story holds up much better. I found ABT annoying.
