So who's still here
I used to come here everyday especially on the older site, and now i feel like talking about (asian) movies and other things again...so who's still here from the older days
I still collect movies but i slowed down a bit when my house almost got too small for all of them
So did i miss anything ?

Re: So who's still here
My interest in Asian action cinema is nowhere near as strong as it used to be - mostly due to endless poor DVD releases. But I love me an old school kung fu flick!

Re: So who's still here
off course i remember markgway and bradavon , i saw that yi-long (fellow dutchy) is also still here..
The old site was really great, when whe got a new site i think we lost a lot of people/members..
I remember we used to have a sell/trade topic also and many of us were very high on the top of the sellers list..
So do you guys still buy a lot of movies?

Bullets did hemorrhage a lot of members... but we keep chugging along with a loyal band of believers.
Trading, however, is next to dead. I have a list you can check out, but don't get your hopes up.

I don't see why. If I can trade so can everyone else. Unless you're the sort who keeps everything they buy.

Well, most of the regulars and me are now often over at our exclusive and very secret "NO BRAD! NO MARK!" forum (it has over 43.000 regular and very active members, with an almost cult-like loyalty).Ricochan38 wrote:off course i remember markgway and bradavon , i saw that yi-long (fellow dutchy) is also still here..
Ofcourse, I'll PM you the details on how to get there....
You thought BNB's grass was once green? Oh no. No no no no no. We have grass so green it makes Kermit look blue...
I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

You don't see why there's no point trading on a forum of 12 people? People go to the likes of Digital Fix, AV Forums and eBay.Markgway wrote:I don't see why. If I can trade so can everyone else. Unless you're the sort who keeps everything they buy.
I always nowadays go straight to eBay and if they don't sell then Play, then Music Magic Pie. Forums are too much hassle (I just want to shift it) and are last resort. I've no interest in trades for stuff on my wants list any more.

I thought trading was supposed to be fun. For me it was the other way round I'd sell second hand stuff I couldn't trade. I guess I just have a different mindset.

I've never tried CEX for non UK stuff - I always thought they would only R2 DVDs/UK BD etc.saltysam wrote:ditto but CEX are not much use for non-region 2 stuffgasteropod wrote:I just take all my stuff to CeX.

If they're Asian you could try the Kung Fu Cinema Forum.Ricochan38 wrote:I have a lot of R2 and R3 dvd's that i still want to get rid off, and many LE dvd's.. so which forum is best for trade/selling now?
Post your list here first though. At the very least I'll take a look.

I do wish I hadn't bought all those crappy 4:3 and non-anamorphic dvds back in the day - can't shift them for love, never mind money!
