How the hell did you get so many customs slips Romero? :o I get pissed when I have to pay a £7.50 charge but £130+!
:(

Today I got:

Matrix Revolutions R2 - rental to see what its like.

IMO:
Matrix is excellent, still impressive today - 5/5

Reloaded was not a bad film per se, in fact it was quite exciting, but felt really underwhelming/seen it all before/lazy compared to the the first one so was merely "Okay". In fact it was to The Matrix what Terminator 3 was to the first 2 Terminator films. - 3/5

Revolutions - ???

What's SFW Mordib?
As for Cutey Honey, yeah it's animé, but when the main character transforms, don't the clothes she is wearing have to come off? She changes forms quite a bit (or so I've heard) ;)
I haven't seen it tho.

god damn delete button sending me back pages .... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

anyway, SFW is an oldish Stephen Dorff flick about a dude who becomes a involuntary media star when he is held haostage for 30 something days at his local 7/11 on live tv... very entertaining.... and I think in all the sales at the mo R2...

Cutey Honey, yes, she does happen to get naked everytime she changes outfit but welcome to the wonderful world of cosplay... I won't say anymore, you'll just have to read the review in the usual place after the weekend ;)

Don't you mean "New Cutey Honey"? I'm sure it was originally made in the 70's and then New Cutey Honey was the 90's update. You got me intrigued ;)

Hero: Extended Edition - Standard DVD-9.

First the bad:

The picture quality isn't as good as the HK DVD that's clear, it's to bright in places but to be honest it's not half as bad I was led to believe or those DVD Beaver captures show. It's still very good. It's anamorphic too.

The FACE logo is annoying but again DVD Beaver are wrong it appears about every 10 minutes and for only 4-5 seconds NOT every 5 minutes and for 30 seconds. I can live with it!

Now for the good:

The packaging is really nice. Why has no one mentioned this?

Sure it's stupidly big (about an inch taller and 2/3 of an inch wider) but it's rock hard, like a book. The packaging is full of lovely photos too. I was really surprised how nice it is.

The DTS is the same as the HK DVD and the subs are fine.

It's worth keeping for the packaging alone!

In my experience they are good at this. I've got my money back in the past.

I believe Bruce has too.

I recieved:

Once Upon A Time In China IVL boxset from CD-WOW :)

I diont know what the "collectable inkwash painting" description on WOW was all about - it looks like a (admittedly nicely designed and sturdy) cardboard keepcase to me...

Forget I said that - the front of the main box with the nice picture does have a sort of a smart "cloth" feel to it, not like normal card. The box is a chunky bugger though - 3 DVDs wide so what was wrong with a digipack (a la A Better Tomorrow Trilogy)?
