Head are selling '27 Dresses' for £4.79.

Not my cup of tea but great price if you like chick flicks.

I would own the UK version, but once I found out about the shorter version, I thought nooo! Sadly it was too late for Part 2 as I bought it then found out it was the short version. Neither films great, but hey if they are cheap as chips a few quid will not hurt.

Head have an in-store sale with titles from £6.99

I got Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible II, and Mad Max 2 for that starter price.

Only one I've watched is M:I2. Most reviews (of the USA disc) really praise the image, but I thought it was average for a BD.

MI2 looks better than the dvd and does its job, but as you say very average for a fairly new film. But hey I was happy with it when I compared my old dvd to it, part 1 is even less of a jump from the dvd, but hey at least part 3 looks amazing.

I've got the MI2 HD-DVD as the BD has a low audio bitrate, annoyingly. Paramount did it with a few BDs, given the HD-DVD 1.5Mbps DD5.1+ but the BD 640Kbps DD5.1. Dreamgirls is another example, Babel too.

Ordered. Thanks again, Sam: King of Vouchers.

Not sure if any of you guys have a Head store nearby but as I said previously they have many BDs for £6.99.

In addition to the titles I already mentioned I bought District 13.

There's too much to remember but I recall they also had: Enchanted, From Hell, Planet of the Apes (2001), Black Rain, and Enter the Dragon.

Ah, so am I wasting my time posting Head bargains here?

They've got loads of cheapish BDs.

Under a fiver they have Harry Potter - Order of the Phoenix and X Men - Last Stand.

Picked up COMMANDO in HMV today for a fiver.

They had a handful of special purchase titles sprinkled throughout the A-Z listing so might be worth a look in your local store.

For a Blu Ray that is very good. Is it just the movie/barebones disc?
