I thought that the Sony release of Leon was exactly the same. In fact some were complaining that there hadn't been any improvements over the European releases.

and I do wonder why Leon is so cheap, how odd that some titles seem to shoot down in price latley so quickly.

That's the French Paramount BD. Is it confirmed all Euro releases are from the same master?

I paid £25 for the German Tin BD . I didn't pick up Fight Club though.

Those BDs (Sony vs Paramount) look identical to me. You have to remember that DVD Beaver is biased toward American product. I believe that the Optimum is no different having been taken from the exact same master.

Nope wasn't a misprice-it was a special offer that lasted about 2 hours.they must've sold their allocated stock.the copy i ordered for my brother has shipped already.

Loads of brand new releases have been under £10 (some way under), so Trek is nothing close to a misprice, if anything it should be cheaper than that by now.

It's a 3 Disc release and they charge more for those + it's holding it's price well (around the £15-18 mark). So at under a tenner it could've easily been a misprice.

Star Trek 11 is at the top of my wants list but I'll only stretch to £12 tops. Really £10 though.

i've had the usa dark sky release for a while,actually watched it again Sunday,i believe the uk is the same Don May nsupervised transfer.it looks very good

Thanks Mark. I'm happy with my DVD though, which isn't great but it'll do. It's no Terminator/Terminator 2/Predator in the Arnie stakes. It's in my top 10 Arnie films though.
