Re: Best dvd versions of the Kickboxer series?
I used to have the Dutch DVD of Kickboxer 2.
It was uncut (AFAIK) and letterboxed @ 1.85.
Contained two audio tracks: English 5.1 (awful) and English 2.0 (much better).
Don't think any of the others are available OAR. They may well be open matte. You'd be as well picking up the UK discs of Parts 3 and 4 dirt cheap.
Part 4 is a terrible film, though violent enough to have been banned for years. Pt2 and Pt3 are fine for what they are. Pt5 AKA Redemption is unrelated to the series; I think it was mediocre DTV fodder.

I Think the usa version of Kickboxer 2 is letteboxed as well, though non-anamorphic. i've noticed a double feature of 3 & 4 can be had very cheap, will leave 5 alone if it's an in name only cash-in.
