Theres loads of extras on the Legacy set that aint on the Quad sets, like on Alien theres loads of soundtracks which aint on the Quad set, commentaries, sound tracks different to the normal effects track, different dialogue, music track, etc in fact Alien DVD is superb even compared to the new 2 dvd Quad version. :)

and I have 2 Quad sets as one came with the Japanese Head and I cannot get rid of it as its part of the Alien Head thingies, and the dvds are not up to the R1 standard, as Aliens and Alien 3 are only the extended cuts with no normal versions available on the dvds :( and all the extras have big burned in japanese subs!!!!!

while the R1 is perfect and worth keeping :) better packaging too (well no Alien Head obviously ) and as Aliens is the best film ever made, its worth it for me to keep em all. :)

I take it for what it is, an action film and a good one too, with a very good BIG ASSED bad buy, not sure why people dont like it as its just an extension of the 1st film really, just not as good as Arnies classic yes, but its still very watchable and enjoyable with some great scenes and its very 1990 thats for sure :)

I recently watched Predator 2 again. It looks a little bit dated, but still holds up reasonably well.

I love the scene in the meat locker place.....when, having wounded him, Danny Glover first gets a proper close-up glimpse of the Predator, and is about to finish him off, muttering: "You're one ugly...."

Only for dreadlocks chops to suddenly wake up and say: "MOTHERF**KER!!!," and then flings poor Danny halfway across the room.

:D Love that.
