Just wondering if I import an HK Blu-Ray, will I be able to watch the extras on my Pal player?

Hong Kong uses NTSC, but I think it's only NTSC players that struggle with PAL, not the other way around.

Oh really?
EDIT:
I've just read all European Blu-Ray players and HDTV's are meant to support NTSC as standard.
Sounds like my player should play everything on a non region locked disc then.

I imagine NTSC. Like 99.9% of HK DVDs. Many Mainland Chinese discs are PAL though.
If your Player is European it'll be fine. If it's North American, it may struggle. Can you play Euro DVDs?

If your UK player is region free it'll play EVERYTHING.
All UK players are NTSC compatible.

It should play all BDs/DVDs. Not all BD Players can play Audio CDs, VCDs or SVCDs.

The SD extras will still be PAL or NTSC but it shouldn't be a problem.luckystars wrote:No my player is not region free but the Blu-Ray disc is coded all regions.Markgway wrote:If your UK player is region free it'll play EVERYTHING.
