California legalises gay marriage
Good for them and not surprising, considering that it's fucking California, US capital of the liberal elite.

Personally I couldnt care less about it, its up to them. If they want to get married let them, just dont let them adopt children, thats just silly, if they cannot have kids the normal way, its their fault grow a pussy. Still it never stopped Mandonna.bradavon wrote:Yes. I got your joke but am interested in your point of view on the subject.
Even god has no say anymore when ministers, bishops and priests are getting jiggy with other men. Its up to them as obviously there is no god.

A child needs a mother AND a father.
If they've got two fathers (or two mothers), it's the same as if they were raised by a single parent. The chances that they'll be normal when they grow up are slim.
If they want to get married, I don't mind. I don't like it, but I don't mind.
But for the love of God: don't let them adopt children.

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

So you're saying no parents is better than 'one' parent?tom2681 wrote:A child needs a mother AND a father.

In theory, yes.
No influence is better than bad influence.
But in the real world... I think the result will be the same.
Whether you grow up in an orphanage or with a single parent, you'll probably be dysfunctional either way.

My parents got married, and then seperated. Does that make me disfunctional?
You could have a loving single parent family, or you could have two parents who fight and bitch a lot. But thats OK as it observes the sanctity of marriage
For a child, love is most important. How many parents he/she has, who they live with, isnt (IMO).

When your so called gay parents are railing each other in the ass, and bending over and fisting each other and you walk in, guess that will not effect you at all thengrim_tales wrote:My parents got married, and then seperated. Does that make me disfunctional?

If everyone was gay, the world would end, so obviously its not natural or normal for any kids.

@Grim:
Yes you are dysfunctional. So is everybody else on BnB AFAIK.
Love is important, sure. But so is education.
There are things that only a man can teach his child.
There are things that only a woman can teach her child.

I know what you mean Tom, both a woman's/man's perspective on things is helpful, but (say) if the child doesnt have a father, maybe there are other male members of the family they can talk to about "men's things"
It may change the child's outlook if, say, the child grows up around women or whatever. Not saying that is "bad"!
Romero I find that reply very bigoted. So, what if a child walks in and finds their hetero parents fucking? Everyone gets a shock to find their parents still have sex. Will the kid not be shocked then?!
