Nude photo gets Aussie school teacher fired

A Sydney primary school teacher who was suspended for appearing nude in a women's magazine says she would gladly strip and pose again.

Lynne Tziolas posed with her husband who is also a teacher, but only she was dismissed.

The pair appeared in Cleo magazine's sealed section in an article in which 'real' couples spoke about their sex lives.

After anonymous complaints from parents, Lynne was fired.

Christ, they consider that an inappropriate photo?! Romero must be on the school board.

It sounds like the photos were very tasteful and what's more educational too. That's shocking on it's own but to only fire the women because well she's a women (boobs are bad) is plain wrong.

I hope she sues them for wrongful dismissal. I would understand if she appeared in a porn magazine but this is very different.

One of the questions: "What's the most risqué thing you've ever done? Had sex with the blinds up and lights on". Hardly something taboo.

The video goes on to say dozen of parents want her reinstated and have signed a petition. It even says "the department may ban her from teaching again." It's not the parents place to demand a suitable teacher be fired!

I thought this draconian bullshit only happened still in America, in the Western world. I seriously doubt it would happen in the UK or at least to the extent she was fired.
