It was only $20 NZD, so I thought "why the hell not?" and bought it. Will install within the next few hours.
Reviews describe Metro UI as an unintuitive pile of shit (if you don't have a touchscreen), requiring several more clicks to do shit than you would with Win7's Start menu (the UI's design paradigm is apparently not suited for desktops). I'll probably be installing Start8 within the next week, unless I fall in love with Metro (highly doubtful).
