Mallrats: 1999 R1 CE vs. 2005 10th R1 Anniversary Ed

The 10th AE remaster is leagues better. The CE is interlaced, AE is progressive. Both have edge enhancement, but the CE has had horrible noise reduction applied.

The last cap from the AE TC probably looks screwy because the disc is dual-sided, which are notorious for their bad playback on many DVD players. My DVD burner had trouble reading the damn thing.

First = R1 CE
Second = R1 Anniversary Ed (Theatrical Cut) Third = R1 Anniversary Ed (Extended Cut)

The new one looks best but they have added edge enhancement. Too bad but that's Universal for yeah.

Strange how the edge enchancement is worse on the otherwise improved remaster.
