Ofcom has announced that it is going to be overseeing the conversion of terrestrial broadcast systems from analogue to digital - and is promising that three HD channels will be available as soon as the gradual digital switchover begins in the Granada region in 2009.
Apparently a fourth HD channel will also become available once the switch over is complete in 2012.
I guess it doesn't interest you but I've been keeping an eye on it for ages. The South West is 2010.
Which will be 13 years after I got Digital TV and stopped using Analogue . The switch over has already become though. Is Granada The Borders? As I thought they were first. I'm sure they originally were.
