Warner Archive HK DVD Releases

Post by saltysam »

Cue the "i'm not paying for a dvd-r" comments :) pity these aren't on Blu-Ray but at least they are seeing the light of day from Warner.

According to a poster on bluray.com Pedicab Driver has Closed Captions rather than subs (and they're full of errors). I hope the sound sync errors reportedly on the HD stream have been fixed (but I'm starting to doubt it).

Also, it appears that Downtown Torpedoes only has a mono track and not the original Dolby Surround.

Not heard much else yet other than the picture quality on these discs is supposed to be very good (for DVD).

I feel a lot of custom work coming on...
