The Fox DVD was a 2.0 downmix.

Judging from the clip on Shout's Youtube page, it's a downmix.

That's a tough one. It's one of those things that you tend to know it when you hear it. If the Foley sounds 'off' compared to the dialogue (too modern, distracting) or there are feint surrounds (although the latter can just be sloppy dual channel leakage).

typical Shout! packaging..no mention of the mono track on the specs and they list the movie as 2:35:1
