DVD/BD release with English subtitles from Hong Kong distributor CN Entertainment on September 20th.

Now as for why they'd upscale a film from 2018 that no doubt is available in HD is anyone's guess.

Trailer for the second part:

Not a bad trailer, actually, in my opinion. A number of cool visuals and practical effects on display. Those were the best thing about the first film as well.

Another Japanese zombie flick from 2012, Naoyoshi Kawamatsu's UNDERTAKER, recently got an English subtitled DVD release from German label Midori Impuls. The film currently holds a 1.6 rating at the IMDB . Make of that what you will! This one's getting a BD release in the US on October 29th from Syna...

Anyone gotten the Delicate Skillful Fingers BD yet? I'd like to know if it's worth the upgrade? A screencap or two would be hugely appreciated. I haven't bought anything from the August batch yet and to be honest I don't think I will upgrade Delicate Skillful Fingers. I liked the film OK but I must...

Haunted Turkish Bathhouse (怪猫トルコ風呂) (Japan, 1975) [TV] - 4/5 Completely insane everything-but-the-kitchen-sink genre mish-mash from director Kazuhiko Yamaguchi that sees Yukino (Naomi Tani in one of her few roles for Toei) first tricked into working as a soap whore and then tortured to death and en...

The Harlem Valentine Day (ハーレムバレンタインデイ) (Japan, 1982) [DVD] - 4/5 The best thing about Shigeru Izumiya's weird alternate history cyberpunk sex flick is that it sketches (with a clearly very limited budget) a world that feels fully lived in and that one wishes could be explored further. Of course th...

Seems like the film will hit American theatres long before it opens in Japan.
Well Go Usa will release the film in NY/LA on September 27, with an expansion planned for October 4. Does it even have a release date in Japan other than "2020"?

The Hole in the Ground (Ireland/Belgium/Finland, 2019) [BD] - 2,5/5
Changeling-themed horror flick from first-time director Lee Cronin is occasionally atmospheric and effective but fails to do anything remotely original or interesting with the creepy kid concept.

The Blood on Satan's Claw (UK, 1971) [BD] - 3/5 More accurately titled Satan's Skin on the print used for this release. Slave of the Cannibal God (Italy, 1978) [BD] - 2,5/5
A passable entry in the subgenre. Stacy Keach classes up the joint with some actual acting, production values are fine - mostly thanks to location shooting in Sri Lanka - and there's some pigshit insane stuff in the last third.

Link (UK, 1986) [BD] - 2/5
Elisabeth Shue gets chased around a house by a horny orangutan while clown music blares on the soundtrack. Gave me a headache.

The Devil's Honey (Italy/Spain, 1986) [BD] - 1.5/5
Lucio Fulci attempts to direct an erotic thriller with inept and embarrassing results.

Apparently Asami is really good in it but the film itself is mediocre at best. The reviewer is also clearly unaware that this was her final acting role.
