Golden Harvest made the switch in 1977 with The Iron-Fisted Monk.

Went from there, really.
Shaws held out mostly until 1979, depending on the genre. They topped the 1973 box office charts with the Cantonese House of 72 Tenants.

The Killer Meteors (1976) Director: Lo Wei Cast: Jimmy Wang Yu, Jackie Chan, Yu Ling-Lung, Tung Lin, Lan Yu-Li, Lee Si-Si, Lee Man-Tai, Phillip Ko Fei, Chen Hui-Lau Besides being hardly anyone's favourite Jackie Chan film, Killer Meteors was an odd introduction for me, and likely a fair few fans, to...

The Beasts(!) made more than twice the money The Young Master did. How fucked up is that? EDIT: Actually, your lists don't appear to be accurate. Let me check. Death Duel of Mantis (1978)

Unremarkable but fun Taiwanese flick, with some decent fights and a good performance from Lung Fei as the villian. Nothing really makes it stand out from the crowd, but you could do a lot worse

Snake & Crane was my first non-Bruce Lee HK movie, and it's always had a nostalgic place in my heart, charmingly mad as it is. It's probably the closest Jackie actually came to being Bruce Lee in the Lo Wei films. Up to this point, Lo Wei cast Jackie as an underdog who must learn kung fu from a supe...

To Kill With Intrigue (1977, Hong Kong) youtube 2/5 I'll be honest - when Hsaio's (Jackie Chan) father says, "It's the Killer Bee Clan.", I chuckled out loud. Considering he had five films out in '76, it's kind of surprising that only one Jackie film saw a HK release in 1977 - To Kill With Intrigue.
