The motion bothered me too, I dont know if it was the way it was shot, but the people on screen felt static/cut out, like I was watching it in 3D (even though I wasnt)

I didn't notice that, but that will be due to digital filters used I'd imagine.

It makes sense. Sales are affected more in cinemas by ratings and uncut helps it sell better for the home market.

It's a download for me and I almost never download movies (maybe 1-3 a year, if that). I missed it at the cinema, want to see it but ain't paying to do so.

Why would you not pay for it if you want to see it? It's a good film. If the DVD / BD are too expensive and you don't expect it to be a keeper, then just get it from the closest rental shop.

Because that costs money too and my expectations are very low. I'll obviously get a DVD rip and before anyone waffles about downloading movies, like I said I download 1-3 a year.

It's confusing because the article compares "Theatrical Cut" and "Extended Version" (Extended is longer) yet at the top, says:

73 additional/extended scenes in the Extended Cut
68 additional/extended scenes in the Theatrical Cut

It makes it sound like there is another version plus this Extended Version
Why would the Theatrical Cut have another 68 scenes added or extended that weren't in the Extended Version?

Because Stallone deleted some scenes/shots he had used in the theatical cut from the extended cut (like it says in the article). Just like with Rambo where he also added footage to the extended version, but also deleted some that was in the theatrical version.
