Tony Takitani - R2J vs. R2UK

Post by Lourdes »

R2J is progressive
R2UK is NTSC>PAL

NOTE: The R2UK is letterboxed so I cropped off the bars before the resize. This may result in slight aspect ratio differences.

R2J Top, R2UK Bottom

The R2UK also has hardsubs. One advantage is it has the 1h7m Making Of with subtitles, the R2J has no subs for this and it's only available on the second disc of the more expensive premium release.

Note: the english subs on this disc are fine in the beginning, but gradually fall out of sync. At the end of the film the subs lag approx 0.4 seconds. The R2J does not suffer from this.
