The HKV disc may be cropped at the top, but it shows more information at the bottom. The Running Man (from the ADVDG forum) and I believe that HK Vidéo were supplied a print with no yellow filter (they didn't remove it themselves). The HKV transfer features no obvious signs of colour alteration.

In some shots, the HKV looks much better (in close-ups mostly).
The Mei Ah disc is more detailed and more grainy in most shots.

FYI: the HKL disc features a print similar to the HKV (except that the colours are washed-out). The HKL disc does not feature a cantonese track.

(Next comparison: My Sassy Girl Korean vs R2FR).
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Visually I prefer the HKV as I'm not a fan of piss filters.
