The two men werent doing anything wrong What I find unsettling is ONE customer complained and that was enough for the security guard to think it was valid based purely on their personal opinion, not a store policy (even if it was, it would be equally stupid)
He should have told the complainer to get stuffed, not insult the couple!
If I was a victim of prejudice in that way I'd be pretty pissed off if all I got was a transparent apology and £10 voucher.

Holding hands is nothing. It's not like they were making out in aisle three. Bigots should be ignored.

Sainsbury's said they don't tolerate discrimination, so it sounds like the security guard was going against the policy of the store.
