Wouldnt 3 cuts on 1 BD compromise the quality?
I imagine its cheaper than the German though.. hmmm. Reading through the Blu Ray.com forums I got the impression the German/French used the same transfer? :?

can't justify the extra cost personally.not when i can get all 3 cuts at less than half that price. And there's solid reports about the french disc which swayed it for me.

The German has some TV cut in there apparently (which has footage not in another home video version), sounds a curio but.. dunno, I'll stick with what I have for a while until more reviews.

If you like 'One Arm' and 'Return of' there's no reason you shouldn't enjoy this one, too. Although it's unrelated to the Wang Yu films, it's still classic Chang Cheh.

Do you actually like the sequels? I originally had the trilogy because it was cheap, but ended up feeling the need to sell it and just buy the first one haha.

Haha, same here. To be totally honest I have never seen the sequels. I remember I tried watching Reloaded back when it came out, but I turned it off after 40 minutes or so. Might have something to do with me being 16 at the time and having an attention span that of a squirrel.

Nah, that's definitely a perfectly normal reaction to said film ;)
