Deserves it. Batman is overlooked as a 'kids film' or something, but it's really one of the iconic films of our generation.

That's debatable, they're quite different - Returns is certainly more Tim Burton anyway.

Oh my God, I've just had that thing where a word or phrase suddenly loses all meaning and looks alien, with 'Tim Burton' hah.

Batman returns is a good film but totally over written/story boarded. Some times the set pieces work, others don't.

I prefer Batman. Returns has the problem of too many villains, it got even worse later on. I agree it's over written too.
