Exactly! You do have a knack of articulating yourself perfectly.

As you're too lazy to check yourself (it's the first result btw), here we are:

You really need to see the show to get what I mean though.
Markgway wrote:That link is full of films 'cut' to obtain an 'R' rating (let's not even get started on PG-13).
Just because many of them haven't been released uncut elsewhere doesn't make them any less cut.
It seems only you who thinks this and maybe Grim, he's only mentioned James Bond specifically.

I would never threaten to kill anyone or hope they suffer a painful death. So I hope that wasn't aimed at me. I'll just call you an asshole and tell you to fuck off -- but in a "FUN" way of course. :cool:

Show? It's a comic strip. At least the first link was. You can't expect everyone to get your obscure pop culture references.
It seems only you who thinks this and maybe Grim, he's only mentioned James Bond specifically.
No, the majority of people who know what they're talking about (which naturally rules you out) would agree with me. I don't know if Grim agrees with me on films other that Bond; you'd have to ask him.

Ever owned The Corruptor on DVD Mark? James Foley's commentary is a real eye-opener on finalising action films under the MPAA's gaze (back in 1999 of course).

It was recently part of 200DVDs I offloaded to Film Vault recently but IIRC he spends a lot of time moaning about how much of a headache the MPAA give action filmmakers, forcing them to balance out the total amount of violence in the finished cut, so if there are X number of deaths in one scene earlier in a film then they would only allow Y amount of gore in a scene later on in the film, etc.

Second link, first link on Google.co.uk. My mistake. It's not obscure though.

"This Film Is Not Yet Rated" is a documentary all films fans should see. The MPAA also have an illogical fear of sex.

I'd be interested to hear Foley's comments but didn't like the film enough to buy it.

That's a common complaint. US filmmakers are at the mercy of the R rating.

I don't think I know everything.
I just happen to be correct on this subject.
Plenty shit I don't know about (or care to know about).

Just think: If you'd not made that snide comment to Grim the last couple of pages could have been averted.

Care to patronise me any further? Go on, knock yourself out.

They'd equally have been averted if you'd kept your nose out of it. Grim's old enough to argue for himself. That fact he didn't (or apologise) clearly shows there was no problem to start with.

It clearly doesn't. What it shows is what I said previously: That Grim is too timid to argue with you. I don't mean that as an insult to Grim (he knows I like him). If you tell him he's wrong most of the time he'll just agree to keep the peace. If I hadn't interupted I expect that's what would've happened next. So don't mistake Grim's silence for agreement. That's just his way. I think you sometimes take advantage of that. Perhaps not everyone here agrees with me on that. Fair enough. It's just how I see it.

Psycho 5/5 A Truly stunning piece of cinematic history,this american classic works on all levels. Inventive,surprising with great performances and a brilliant score this must have been a real eye opener to audiences back in 1960. The blu-ray looks great and it's a joy to see this looking as good as it does.

Silent Rage 1.5/5

Always had a soft spot for this early 80's Norris actioner/sci-fi/serial killer hybrid but viewed today it's rather dull and predictable,a little over long as well.it's bereft of action as well with Chuck relatively subdued bar a barroom biker brawl and a final showdown with the baddie.

Rosemary's Killer 2.5/5

One of the many 80's slasher genre entries,this is a rather plodding affair enlivened by some excellent Tom Savini effects and the grim tone on display throughout...(no comedy relief here) Farley Granger and Lawrence Tierney make appearances.

Death Sport 1/5

Woefully bad Roger Corman production cashing in on the earlier Death Race 2000,this has nothing to do with that film bar having David Carradine in the lead.This one is full of awful,clunky dialogue,cheap,shoddy effects work,disinterested performances and a serious lack of humour.Even the usually entertaining genre baddie Richard Lynch can't save this one,thouh the late Claudia Jennings,though wooden in her acting is nice to look at.

Inception (USA, 2010) – 4/5
Enough said about the film, so let’s talk about the viewing experience instead. Japan’s got a wonderful tradition of keeping the lights off till the very end – and most people do sit patiently till the ending credits are over (this is probably a result of not only Japanese courtesy, but the fact that most Japanese movies nowadays feature a popular theme song that is only played during the end credits). I have never run into any kind of disturbance during the film, although I’m sure this would change if I saw more mainstream films. And finally, God Damn, in the US adapted Warner Mycal Cinemas S-saizu soda is damn close to 1 litre, and my friend’s L-size popcorn bucket we were still desperately trying to empty in the train on our way back home. So much about everything being small in Japan…

Hands of Steel (Italy, 1986) – 3/5
A cyborg makes an attempt to kill a politician with his ‘programmed muscles’ (Finnish title) in Sergio Martino’s post apocalyptic actioner. The iron man’s heart is awakened at the last moment, saving the target, but turning himself into a fugitive chased by the cops, villains, and jealous truckers. Remarkably non-post apocalyptic scenery aside, Hands of Steel is solid Italian copycat cheese with amusing dialogue, recognizable actors (John Saxon, George Eastman…) and Claudio Simonetti soundtrack. The closing third is surprisingly competent non-stop action featuring trucks, machine guns and a helicopter.

S = Small
M = Medium
L = Large

Care to say actually anything about Inception Hung? :D. I always stay for the first minute or so of the credits but never until the end. Boring!

I agree with Romero but wouldn't buy large because they rip us off with food/drink prices and it's just OTT. So what if you've finished it before the movies over.

I adore credits of films, some funky stuff goes on, more of the film and some amazing music is on the end of films :) and as Gas says many films have sequences after the films, in fact loads do and some amaze me. Hard to get people to stay right until the end, but it is fun when I make people stay in the cinema and something comes on afterwards.

Who cares to read about Inception. You've all seen it. You've all read a dozen reviews. That's why I wrote about Hand of Steel instead. That film you probably haven't seen or read a dozen reviews of.

Some of my favorite scenes are ending credits... the 5 minute tracking shot in Love and Pop, the shorter but more complicated tracking shot in Ohikkoshi, the hidden real ending of Dawn of the Dead remake, another hidden ending in 964 Pinocchio... and of course the theme songs of many films. It's too bad teens don't have the patience to stay till the end.

* This is really interesting. If you don't know cyberpunk well, you will probably misunderstand the film if you don't see final scene where the souls of the victim and the torturer are dancing together.
