The extras of the Batman Begins BD LE set sound pretty good. It's too bad that we wouldn't be able to utilise the The Dark Knight ticket.

Bloody hell that was quick. It's a New Line DVD/BD and has the following extras:

"When Laura Grew Up: Constructing The Orphanage" featurette
"Horror in the Unknown: Make-Up" featurette
"Rehearsal Studio" - Director J.A. Bayona with the cast during rehearsals
Video Segments about the filmmakers
Still Gallery
Theatrical Trailers

The cover art looks okay too: http://www.dvdpacific.com/item.asp?ID=946647

I bet it's Region Locked!

Master and Commander: USA Region A BD coming 13/05/08:

http://www.dvdpacific.com/item.asp?ID=847612

This was released back in December on Region B. No doubt it will be identical, here's a review:

This is one title I've been waiting for, excellent film that it is. As typical for a catalogue title from Fox, extras are limited.

It's no coincidence that Fox rhymes with Cocks.

Thanks Salty. I almost knew for sure it would be.

It's a new release and is a New Line title. Isn't Pan's Labyrinth the only Region Free New Line disc?

This is the Trilogy box set so doesn't apply. All the extras are SD on the HD-DVD, they're considering The Animatrix an extra.
Fucking owned, go mope in the corner.

That's pretty sad, to dig out an ancient comment of mine.

Personally I don't mind. The Trilogy box set doesn't have them anyway. I only wanted the first film and maybe the two sequels. I doubt I'll ever watch the extras, or Animatrix.

Any source links please Lourdes?

Thanks.

Here it is, part of the rumour mill:
And finally, here's a bit of new information that should excite fans of both Blu-ray Disc and The Matrix. Sources at Warner Home Video have confirmed to us that when The Matrix Trilogy makes its way to Blu-ray (likely in the 4th quarter, timed to the DVD and Blu-ray release of Speed Racer), The Animatrix will also be released on Blu-ray Disc in true 1080p high-definition. Whether it will be included in the box set or released separately (or both) is still TBD, but the simple fact that The Animatrix wasn't included in high-def in the HD-DVD box set was a key complaint for fans, so it's nice to know the studio is rectifying that on Blu-ray.

The same link also says Killl Bill Vol 1 and Vol 2 are coming this year.

It could be true but like you say The Digital Bits aren't to be trusted. To be fair, it is in their rumour mill.

I am suprised at what titles get locked, its not as if Orphanage is a bit hit and will sell millions of units.
