Old composite sourced transfer - composite artefacts - brightening + more image = this new release.
It's lovely.

The R1 releases are fucking terrible for cross colouration and dot crawl, those r2j grabs look very nice.

Awesome, cheers man. With Bandai as the distributor, the likelihood of subbed BDs is high.

I do hope so, Sony have nothing to do with the series - only the movie - so if it does come out on BD it should be subbed and dubbed.
