Zodiac is a very strong contender, but I'm less familiar with it and Fight Club is iconic Cinema.

So Fight Club.

First time I watched Fight Club, I didn't like it.

Second time, several years later, I loved it.

Go figure.

Kinda the other way round for me.

First time I saw it I was overwhelmed by the visceral content. There seemed to be so much crazy stuff going on that I thought it was interesting (that was in the cinema).

On DVD once the initial impression had worn off I saw the film for what it was: an empty bag of tricks with nothing of any relevance to say. I confess I felt a bit cheated.
