That's what I was wondering, too. I'd assume everyone has seen at least The Good The Bad The Ugly. If you haven't, you're missing some of the coolest filmmaking mankind has ever come across...

You don't have to be 'into westerns' to enjoy a great movie.

Once upon a Time in the West is a fucking classic. Brilliant brilliant movie. Worth watching for the soundtrack alone. Worth watching for the cinematography alone.

I love Sergio Leone's work. Wonderful films.

How does the rating work? What do the numbers in brackets and bold writing mean?

You repost the ties with the title you want to vote FOR in BOLD.

The numbers in brackets are scores (votes already cast).

Each round is open for 24hrs. No exceptions. :D

Arrrrggghh tough decision.
It has to be TGTBATU as I've seen it more (a classic) but both are excellent.

since I can't find a more suitable thread...

how was the 5.1 audio on the The Good, The Bad, The Ugly 2 Disc Special Edition DVD? Sound effects redone?

I have that and the old UK disc with original mono, and figured I ought to get rid of one of them cause it's impossible to watch two dvds at the same time

The gunshots/dialogue are redone on the newer disc, the gunshots sound pish (too powerful) and the dialogue sounded as if it was coming from all 5 speakers IIRC :?
