This was 6 years ago in the Finnish film magazine that I also "work" for...

Image

One of our guys designed a fake VHS cover for a supposedly ultra-rare film that doesn't actually exist and was asking collectors if they know what film it is? Apparently he even got pretty good offers for it from people who wanted to buy it...

The coolest April Fool's prank ever!!!!

He also wrote the full story as a pretty damn awesome comic strip

I can so recognize myself

(in case you didn't recognize it, the picture is from Re-Animator)

Apparently genuine, although I can't say for sure.

Is anyone getting a strong Borat vibe from this stellar review, or is it just me? Yes, this is an actual review from HKMDB, and if you can guess for which film, you get a million dollars...... enjoy.

"This very beautiful, entertainment and scale drama in genre wuxia. The Film more 10 years, but without use computer technology even, he surprises the beauty a suit and window dressing, brightness of the personages. The Chin Siu Tung - a great cinematographer. The Normal combat scenes in film practically no, and the main personages fought, basically, by means of magics and incantation, set which much hich. Magic, beautiful and seizing cinema."

You'll have to pry my precious collection from my cold dead hands

Do you take recyclable cans?

But seriously, this Jackal guy has the funniest and most incomprehensible reviews i've ever read.
