I'm sure he means Dumbo - Toy Story releases are the same - for that price I can live without the US flag.
I'll wait for Dumbo USA BD.

Re: Disney Blu-Ray BOGOF
Thanks for posting the bargain Seriously, that is very good
According to this review, some say a 2011 release or it may come this year. The content will probably be the same as the Mexico release, plus the mono track?

Once again, thanks for the bargain

Mono seems to be missing, hope its on the USA release.Audio for Dumbo:
English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio
Cine-Explore
Watch the film with a very neat Picture-in-Picture video track. View interviews, early animation sketches and more while you view the film. I definitely enjoyed this feature and they used it in very clever ways.
DisneyView
If you hate black bars you can play the movie with DisneyView, which adds beautifully painted borders on both sides of the screen. The borders change with each scene so they are very fitting. I actually like DisneyView and find the borders to be beautifully done.
Deleted Sequence: The Mouse’s Tale (5:37) (HD)
Learn about a deleted scene from the film titled ‘The Mouse’s Tale.’
Deleted Song: “Are You A Man Or A Mouse?” (3:56) (HD)
Listen to a song that did not make it into the film, featuring early animation sketches.
Taking Flight: The Making of Dumbo (28:09) (HD)
Film historians and Disney animators talk about how Dumbo saved the studio as well as the animation of Dumbo. This featurette is quite extensive and talks about all levels of production. This featurette also includes footage from other Disney titles, including Mulan, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, Fantasia, The Lion King and more.
The Magic of Dumbo: A Ride of Passage (3:09) (HD)
A short featurette all about the Dumbo ride found in Disney Parks. The footage is all in high-definition and look absolutely great.
Classic DVD Bonus Features:
Sound Design Excerpt from “The Reluctant Dragon” (5:58) (SD)
“Celebrating Dumbo” (14:54) (SD)
Original Walt Disney TV Introduction (1:05) (SD)
Original Theatrical Trailer (2:13) (SD)
Theatrical Re-Release Trailer (1949) (1:18) (SD)

Re: Disney Blu-Ray BOGOF
I Was winding you up Grim as for mono on Dumbo, while it's nice to have for purists even if it was on there i'd be listening to the master audio track anyway. according to that review "The Blu-ray release just recently released in Mexico and features the same content planned for U.S. release.
Regardless of release date, this version features the exact same content and encodes that will be included on the U.S. release. The release was only pushed back for marketing purposes and not to include additional content." doesn't sound hopeful for your dream of Mono,i know earlier disney releases have had it but that's no guarantee for this one.

I don't mind about the lack of Mono on animation either. I actually prefer it in surround sound (live action it's entirely different). Thanks btw Salty.
DVD.co.uk btw are owned by BlahDVD and thus I tend to buy straight from them:

Yes, I'm "on about" Dumbo. It might not matter to you, but it matters to me - and many others. So stick that in your big gay pipe and smoke it.saltysam wrote:Are you on about Dumbo? i'm not bothered about Mono on a cartoon to be honest.

Correct,it doesn't.Markgway wrote:

I'm sure it does but i only ever hear yourself and Grim moan about it here (justifiably if it bothers you) It'd be nice to have the original mono on all releases that should have it but i'm certainly not arsed enough about it not to buy something because it's not there.i'm far too old to be worrying about mono or lack of on discsMarkgway wrote:but it matters to me - and many others.

Re: Disney Blu-Ray BOGOF
Since Disney have put the original Mono (or Stereo in the case of Sleeping Beauty) track on their classic animation BDs (including Snow White, Pinocchio), it seems odd to leave it off Dumbo.

It do hate it when a Mono Live Action film that works perfectly (e.g - a 1960s talk driven movie), is only given 5.1 (and worse a OTT 5.1 at that, Anchor Bay I'm looking at you!) but it alone wouldn't prevent me buying it. Thankfully most 5.1 remixes from Mono/Stereo sources made today are nothing more than Stereo at best, so I can live with them.
