Normally I'd say this looks utter tush but as Sylvester Stallone is directing it could be awesome.

He gave us Rambo 4, enough said.

Gawd.... another Li-Statham flick, only this time with 2 former washed up muscleheads...

Cant say I'm excited. Li is the only talented one of the bunch, and his american flicks have been pretty poor. Especially the ones with Statham.

YES, Rambo 4 was one of the best films of 2008.

Still it's the closest you've been to a woman's underwear in years.

Rambo (IV) was a cool film and the idea of these guys teamed up is an action fan's wet dream.

What would you rather see Yi-Long? Sly and Dolph in Happy Together 2 - The Coming?

Rocky IV was indeed a cool action flick and I really enjoyed it. Jet Li is usually cool...
It's Statham and and Dolph that I dont give a fuck about. Statham is one of the worst action-heroes ever, as is Dolph.
Sly Stallone is an old man. If he will take this movie in the same direction as he did with rambo 4, it could be very good, but casting-wise it just reeks worse than Mark's momma's panties, and that's saying something.

Jet shouldnt stoop to this low level. He should be making movies with Spielberg, Michael Mann, whatever. He's a great martial artist and a very good actor. Surely there must be good scripts and/or ideas around to take full advantage of a talent like that!?

Sorry - but I'd rather see Jet in a Stallone-directed film than one from Spielberg or Mann.

But, hey, that's just me.

And no dissing Dolph. Have you see The Joshua Tree or Men of War?

You what? Talk about a strange choice of directors to work with Li. Although I agree it's largely wasting his talents nowadays.

I fail to see how Statham is really worse than most of the big action stars of the 80s. He's perfectly fine in the action films he's been in, it's mostly the scripts which stink.

Everybody's talking about wasting Li's talents. As a martial artist, yes. But as an actor? Have I missed some great performance of his?

I used to be quite a fan of Lundgren and I really don't know why. Most of his films were just bland at best, and he's not a clumsy enough actor to be worth laughing at.

That said, he was good as He-Man

He-man is a guilty pleasure of mine. It could've been a lot better though.

In some ways its very good, especially the performances of Frank Langella and Meg Foster. Had the whole thing taken place on Eternia (or not been a Cannon film) i think it would be held in higher regard

Exactly. It so should've been set on Eternia but that clearly would've cost too much. Parts of it are so cheesy though, like the dodgy synthesiser effects.

Fans of He-Man will have the new Dragon Ball movie to look forward to...
(which looks like this generation's own Masters of the Universe movie, in terms of how horrible a movie can possibly be...)

"Like Thundercats going to see Rocky Horror!" LMAO!!!

I never thought He-Man was so much homoerotic as really anti-trousers. Even old men wear little more than vests and loin cloths

The film though...why is Teela all encased in faux denim whilst Dolph is showing more flesh then Bettie Page???

Watch The Joshua Tree before slagging Dolph off. No one who's seen it will remain unimpressed.

Jet was also excellent in The Warlords. His acting has improved enormously in the last few years.
