Awesome 90s Trailers

By the 1990s the art form of trailer compilation had been perfected. Slick and pumped-up... in many cases the trailers were more exciting than the finished movie (see some examples below). Here are 10 of my favourite trailers from that era (remember it doesn't mean I like the film, though most I do). Feel free to add your own in subsequent posts.
BAD BOYS (1995)

That's an OK trailer for Goldeneye but I can't believe it gives away the twist villain so obviously.

True, but I think the twist comes in the first half of the movie, no?

What a dud this thread turned out to be!

The Face/Off one is cool. I wonder if the scene with John Travolta saying that he will "become" Troy was originally supposed to be in the film but cut later.

Most of my favourite trailers are actually not from the 90's... but here's a few (although probably not exactly what Mark had in mind...):
Yellow Fangs (1990)
Sonny Chiba's directorial debut, a great underrated adventure film (despite the silly bear costume). The trailer is perhaps more 80's than 90's though.

The End of Evangelion (1997)
Possibly my favourite trailer of all time. A realistic live action trailer for a mecha anime. The characters have become normal young adults. No mechas to be found. Originally intended as (deleted) ending for the film, I believe. Hideaki Anno geniusness!

Even the film's "normal" TV spot is quite something...

Love & Pop (1998)
Another Hideaki Anno film, this time live action. Again Anno geniusness in the advertising materials. The TV spots and music video were used to show what happens after the film's ending - things that are planned and talked about in the film, but never seen as the film ends before that. Here's a TV spot:

It was shot specifically for the trailer.

Godzilla (1998), Last Action Hero, and T2 spring to mind... I'm sure there are many others.

The trailer for Batman Forever had Two Face yelling "If the Bat wants to play, we'll play!". No idea why it's not in the finished film.
The trailer for The Avengers has lots of footage from scenes removed after the preview.
