I do have a sense of humour. A good one. But that clip was not in any way clever or funny.gasteropod wrote:Mark, tbh you've shown again and again that you have no sense of humour unfortunately

How is that the same thing? It's one thing to say "I've seen it but have forgotten something about it", it's another thing to say you've seen a film, you know you haven't.saltysam wrote:How do you know they were lying? you've shown here on a couple of occasions that you've forgotten the end of films you've seen but no-one thinks you've lied about having seen them.
Besides, like you can remember every detail of every film you've ever seen. Please!
This could be awesome. It worked for Stallone! Arnie needs to make sure it has an 80s/early 90s feel though.saltysam wrote:Arnie back to the Terminator Franchise?

What! Just because I cannot remember the exact details down to the minutest detail (and I don't give a shit). I'm lying? Okay, if it makes you feel all warm and cosy inside, consider me a liar. Guess what! I don't give a shit.
Why do you care so much? Because you clearly do. I said I've had people tell me they've a seen a film, that later it turns out they haven't. That's really all the discussion requires.

If you dislike Kermode, I'd avoid reading this. If you find his brand of critic interesting, read on.

Parents controlling kids and not taking them to 12A's is my second biggest gripe. So many times I've had to tell people to stop talking because the teenage oink hasn't bothered to do their job properly.
